Original details were kept where possible; the frescoed ceilings were restored in the lounge and dining areas (and they really are quite stunning), iron balconies peek out onto the streets, and baroque tiles add an aged and wise beauty to the building
The primrose-yellow mansion in the hip Psirri neighbourhood is packed with restored features, including ornate frescoed ceilings and baroque floor tiles. Dorm rooms are back-to-basics, with wooden beds and school desks. A flash of personality comes from the apple-green, crayon-blue and apricot-coloured blankets.

The dorms are smart, clean and solid looking, with spick and span bathrooms to match. The shared spaces are stylishly kitted out with interesting and non-matching chairs and the whole place has what you might call character.
